Accessibility

Tracklyst is built for audio professionals, and that includes users who rely on assistive technology, keyboard navigation, or screen readers. We're working to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and treat accessibility as an ongoing process, not a one-time checklist.

What's in place today

• Status and state indicators throughout the app (approved, resolved, active/revoked, new activity) pair color with text labels or icons — nothing is conveyed by color alone.
• The site is built with semantic HTML and works with standard browser zoom and text resizing.
• Interactive controls are implemented as native buttons and links rather than non-semantic elements, so they're reachable via keyboard and screen readers by default.

What we're still working on

We haven't yet completed a full WCAG audit of every flow in the app — file upload, waveform interaction, and comment threads in particular. Known gaps we're actively tracking include full keyboard-navigation coverage of the waveform/comment interface, comprehensive alt text on dynamic content, and contrast verification across all of our accent color themes. We're addressing these incrementally rather than claiming full conformance before the work is done.
