Why Compress Artwork?
Tracklyst Banners
Tracklyst banners must be under 100KB — a file that's too large is silently skipped rather than shown. This tool caps out at exactly that limit, so you can't accidentally export something too big.
Tracklyst Album Artwork
Album artwork has a stricter 50KB limit — use the "Album Artwork" preset above to target that instead of the banner limit.

Resize + Re-encode

Frequently Asked Questions
What size should my Tracklyst banner be?
Under 100KB, named exactly banner.jpg, banner.png, or banner.webp, placed in the same folder as your tracks. The default target on this tool already matches that limit — it won't let you go higher.
What size should my Tracklyst album artwork be?
Under 50KB — stricter than the banner limit. Use the "Album Artwork" preset button above the settings to switch the target to 50KB.
JPG or WebP — which should I pick?
WebP usually compresses smaller at the same visual quality, but JPG has the widest compatibility. Either works for a Tracklyst banner.
Why didn't it hit my target size?
If the image is very complex or the target is extremely small, the tool will keep shrinking dimensions until it gets as close as possible — at some point quality has to give a little.
